Happy nine29!!!

As many of you know, today is the backbone of our photography business…nine29. September 29th is our special day! Today we celebrate 4 incredible years as husband and wife!!

Of course, we think we are absolutely perfect for one another. We consistently do things that remind us why we are meant to be. So when I went shopping for the perfect anni card…I lucked out. U + Me simply stated on the cover…somethings are just meant to be on the inside.

So…as if we needed one more reason as to why we are meant to be…here it is…

That’s right…we bought the same card. Out of all the cards in all the stores, well…you get the idea!

And here is an example of our perfect love…

Happy nine29 my sweet love! Thank you for choosing me. I love you everyday!

Amber and Buzz, you guys were truly, truly amazing…so accommodating in every way imaginable. David and I felt so blessed that you asked us to join you all the way in Forks, Washington for your special day…well, second special day ;) Take a peak at how kickback and awesome they were…

That’s right boys and girls…Camo…

LOOOOOVE…

Hanna and Wyatt were seriously so awesome! Not only could they follow directions easily, they were so polite and fun to work with…

Wyatt cracks me up here! Love it…

One of my faves…

Amber, you are so gorgeous in all of these. But I especially love how happy you look…

We can’t thank you enough for everything!!! It was easily our most laid back wedding ever, and we enjoyed ourselves completely!!

Adrienne is on the rise! That’s right…with a screenplay, novel, and a collection of short stories under her  belt, Adrienne Gunn has no where to go but up! On her way to the tippy top, she made a quick little stop with us to update her head shots. And I am so glad she did. In all honestly Adrienne…you are smokin’ H-O-T (Tyra would be proud)!!

Here’s a little glimpse of the beautifully confident (and rightfully so) Adrienne…

She’s a writer…not a hair model!

My absolute FAVE…

I had to keep myself from commenting on every photo! You are amazing…simply put!

After initially meeting Cindy and Tony, I knew it was going to be a great shoot! They seemed laid back, easy to work with, and excited…and that’s exactly what they were for our shoot. Kerra had her model on and was workin’ it out for us. Cameron wasn’t quite sure about us but did great regardless ;) Take a peak at their awesome little family…

See what I mean about gettin’ her model on?!?! I love every inch of this…

Scorching hot mom and dad…

Love this of Cameron…

I will end with one of my faves…

Thank you so much! You all were great!

This shoot was particularly special to David and myself (and Maeve too, of course)!

Cody texts me one day and tells me how he has found this amazing woman. Then he precedes to tell me how he thinks he understands mine and David’s love. Which, to me, means this is it…she is the ONE. That he has found a love in Christa that he has waited so long for. Since that day…nothing but bliss has poured from the two of them. And on the way up to Oregon, he propositions a life full of this bliss…and she says YES!

A mere two days after that, we got to photograph their engagement shoot! Of course I am partial to Cody, being he is my cousin and all. But truly, Christa, you have lucked out here! Cody is…well…quite frankly…AMAZING! Full of love and acceptance, you couldn’t have picked a better man to spend the rest of your life with. And Christa, we have only just met you. But the words Cody speaks of you is enough for me to know that you too, must be something special. So…thank you, for making Cody so happy.

Here’s a little glimpse at their bliss…

And honestly…there were SO many perfect ones. I had a hard time picking…

LOOOOVE…

My absolute FAVE!!!I love how happy you both look…

Oh Cody…So handsome…

A little fun…

Thank you both for letting us photograph this special time in your lives!! We love you!!!

Baby Button

Little miss Maeve is growing all too fast. So fast, that I can’t seem to keep up blogging about her. Rest assured…I am still taking tons of photos of her, even though I don’t blog about her enough. That being said…I’m blogging about Maeve tonight…Yaaaaay! (And yes, I am sure that I could say the word blog a few more times.)

Button is:

  • 4 months and 5 days old!
  • getting very good at rolling over from her back onto her belly. At first she could only do it during naked time because her cloth diapers give her…cue music…apple bottom (jeans and the boots with the fur)…or something like that ;) But now she can roll over with her big puffy diapers on. She is still working on becoming proficient at rolling from her belly to her back. She has done it a few times but has a difficult time with it.
  • super chatty
  • sleeping really good through the night in her own room (big relief for mommy and daddy)
  • still refusing the bottle!!! That’s right, the little turkey! It’s been quite a struggle for us all involved. We have tried practically every type of bottle/nipple, different position, you name it…we’ve tried it. It makes things quite difficult when mommy is at work.
  • showing signs of being ready to try solids. I wanted to wait to add things in closer to the six month range, but like I just mentioned…she doesn’t take a bottle. So, today, for the very first time…Button tried rice cereal!! She was really receptive to it, and seemed to be  having a good time with it. At first, she rolled it around in her mouth and spit most of it out, but then she got better and started swallowing it.

Here are a few pics from her first rice cereal encounter…

She was really cute and pulled the cereal to her mouth every time with the spoon…

Haha…LOVE her…

All in all…it went pretty good! I can’t believe my little babe is on her way to eating real food!

Here is a pic of her and dad working! Whenever we have a photo shoot, Maeve is in the ergo with dad. She usually ends up falling asleep, and they are both super cute…

Maeve also started singing herself to sleep when she gets tired. It’s just about the sweetest thing. She still cries occassionally when she is tired, but she does this a lot more. Here is Button doin’ her thing…growing way too fast…

Happy Monday!
