Our Baby Biography: Week 36

We decided what we would bring little Button home in, and I simply can NOT wait! It’s nothing extravagant by any means, but it’s special to us. Special because her daddy made her the hat and little matching socks. And special because its means that she will finally be here, and we get to bring her home.

Until next time…

Between Bryan’s crazy work schedule and the good ol’ Oregon weather, I think we were all kinda wondering if this was gonna happen or not! Luckily, Kelly didn’t give up…and I am soooooo glad!! Seriously! Everything came together today and it couldn’t have been more perfect!

Since Bryan is a commercial fisherman, we had to incorporate a crab ring. And let me tell you, this is the cutest little crab I have ever seen…

He just melts me…

Fish on! Or something like that ;)

P.S. He’s pretty freaking adorable! Just in case you didn’t know…

Love these next 3…

You guys were rockstars!! Thank you so much!

Little Miss Amelia was not interested in her 3 month shoot…AT ALL!! I think we were more of a nuisance to her than anything else. But, she sucked it up enough for us to get a few good shots ;) Baron and Alisha, you guys were troops as well! Thanks for working so hard to try and get her to smile!

So cute…

I love this! I don’t think her lip could possibly be out any further…

See you at 6 months!

It’s getting close!

Those are the words that have been uttered since about week 28! Because I was just positive that my belly button was going to pop any day now! And each day has passed without the popping of my belly button! So naturally, it has become a joke to David and myself. He would catch me looking at my button, and say, It’s getting close! Wide eyed, I would turn my head to him, I know huh?!?! Then he would laugh and shake his head, No.

Oh, you don’t think so??

I don’t know what it is about wanting my belly button to pop so bad…The turkey timer, as most people say. When it pops, you’re ready! I don’t know who came up with that stupid saying anyways!! It’s not like your belly button has any REAL indication of whether or not you’re ready!!! ( no jealous connotation implied ¬†of course ;) )

So here we are, week 35, and still no poppage of the button. Which leads me to believe that it just won’t happen…not for me. We were going to blog about it when it did pop, but now…getting closer to crunch time…I have just accepted the reality. So…here we are…blogging about my incredibly flat belly button!

You guys can see it, right?!?!?! It’s kinda poking out…

Until next time…

We lucked out and picked the one day out of the week that was supposed to be nice…and it was…kinda. Well, it didn’t rain at least ;) The wind was a bit cold, but the lighting was perfect! And so was Alisa’s gorgeous skin, beautiful smile, and perfect glance! I always love when someone has a great glance, because it makes for awesome photos…just like Alisa’s…

LOVE…

I loved her color choice here! It went perfect with the background…

See what I mean about the beautiful smile…

And every SINGLE one of these in this outfit…I loved! Alisa was totally rockin’ it…

One of my faves…

Another fave…

Thanks again for being soooooo easy to work with!!

Little mister Miro was born exactly one year ago on the day we did his shoot…well…half of his shoot! The other half we had to do today because we needed some pics with his dad, of course!! These three people, David and I have come to LOVE…LOVE I tell you!!! We are so glad we have been a part of Miro’s first year and seriously CAN NOT believe he is already one!

Miro Moore just a couple weeks old…

And now… (P.s. I ADORE this shot!!!!!!!!)

Ohhhhh, this one too…

Those eyes are absolutely captivating Miro…

Ha! Love this little smirk…

Then we went back to where it all started…

I LOVE all of these…

Thank you, thank you for everything!!!!!!!!!! You know you simply ROCK!

Our Baby Biography: Week 34

We’re not normally list people…more like go with the flow type of people. However, this week I have found myself needing to make lists! That’s right…list with a S. It’s just that I don’t want to forget anything!! Since I am sure I will not be in my normal state of mind when it becomes GO TIME…I don’t want to have left the house and forgotten something at home! So…the lists have started. And they have started because well…it’s getting much closer to GO TIME and frankly we are soooooooooooo excited and ready (as long as we have those lists ;) ) to meet our little girl.

Until next time…
