We traveled to Eureka, Nevada this past week to hang out with some family and shoot our cousin, Lydia’s senior portraits! The trip, while too short, was incredible, and we are so thankful we were able to make it down there.

The town had so much aesthetic appeal to me and David, that we could have shot there for days!! We all loaded in the truck and took our time exploring Eureka and got some pretty spectacular shots of Lydia. Take a peak…

My absolute fave of the shoot…

A big thank you to Brett for this shot ;)

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE…

And yes, that’s snow! Burrrrrrr….

You are too gorgeous Lydi…

3 more favorites…

It’s hard to believe that little Jayna is already 6 months old, has teeth, and can stand while holding on to something! It seems like we were just meeting her for her newborn shoot. Once again, we headed out to their place for some amazing shots of Jayna, take a peak…

We lucked out with some awesome weather! And some AWESOME Jayna…

Love this…

You can tell why Jayna is so beautiful! Check out her mama…

We went for our final ultrasound this morning, and well…I have been giddy ever since. Not only is it a relief that everything with baby girl is looking totally healthy, but she showed us part of her little face ;) Which, if any of you remember, is a HUGE improvement over our last ultrasound. 12 weeks ago she showed us her sweet little ear and nothing more. And not that it wasn’t the most perfect little ear we have ever seen, but we wanted to see her perfect little face as well. Unwilling to give us complete satisfaction, she compromised by letting us have PART of her face…which was good enough for me! She also showed us that she has hair!!! Who knows how much really, but it was floating out away from her head ;) And at one point during the ultrasound, she opened her mouth and put her thumb inside…again…SO CUTE!

Something about seeing her face, made it even more real (just when I thought it couldn’t get better than this) for me. Which of course, means the 8 week countdown is absolutely draaaaaaagging on as I so badly want to meet our sweet little Maeve button. So, thank you little girl…for giving us more than your perfect little ear…

Until next time…

We met up with Olin to document him turning one (next week actually)! Fresh up from his nap, he truly couldn’t have been in better spirits. His big brother and sister were preoccupied, so all the attention was on Olin…and he just sucked it up!

We came and hung out with him and his mom, Katherine, and it was so incredibly laid back…which we LOVE!! Take a peak at the super mobile and super cute, Olin…

Quite possibly my FAVORITES of the shoot…

Okay, maybe this one…

This one is pretty perfect too…

This one makes me melt…

Thank you, thank you for such a great and easy shoot!! Happy Birthday Olin!

We timed it perfectly and caught the 30 minutes in between some serious rain fall, and little Reid was ready to rock his 6 month shoot. Not only did he bring his sweet little self, but he brought his bike. I was amazed that he was able to stay on by himself, but thankful for the cute photos it provided. Take a look…

I love how pensive Reid is here…

And of course a little brotherly love…

I will end with the very well balanced Reid on his bicycle…

Thanks guys! See you in 6 months!!

As the countdown goes on, David and I become more and more anxious for our little Maeve button. Not anxious bad…just can’t freaking wait to see what we’ve made and see what her little personality is like kind of anxious! Every time her little feet dig into my side, I think about how I am going to grab them in my hands and kiss them all over. And her hiccups…her 5-6 times a day hiccups make me wonder if she will have hiccups all the time when she gets out here or if that’s just one of her little reminders to me that she is doing just fine inside this ever expanding belly of mine. As my body continues to change, it makes us both excited as we know all these changes are in preparation for button! So here we are…9 weeks aways (but hoping for 7 ;) ) waiting for our little love child to join us…

Until next time…

Jace got his pooping and peeing out of the way early on in our shoot, which made for smooth (and clean) sailing the rest of the time. Elisa and Lance also did an awesome job keeping him up before we got there, so he was pretty tired…especially on a full belly. You guys were so helpful!! Thank you! Take a peak at the brand new Jace…

I loved this perfect little box they had just laying around…

Pure perfection…

So sweet…

I will end with his perfect little feet…

You guys rock! Thank you!

After what seemed like forever, we were finally able to connect with Matthew, Kassy, and Margot for our photo shoot…and it couldn’t have gone better. Of course, the barrette could only stay in if Margot didn’t know about it, and her fascination with a gross old cigarette butt was all consuming…but, it was perfect. Not only were Matthew and Kassy super easy to work with, but little miss Margot was incredibly sweet with her Hi‘s and handholding. Take a look at the very active Margot…

LOVE IT…

Okay, this one too…

So sweet…

I love (okay yes, getting carried away with the love) how grown up she seems in these next two…

This one is simply perfect…

Margo!! You are killing me…

Thank you all for being so simply awesome!

David and I found this incredible fabric store, The Sitchin’ Post, in Sisters, Oregon when we were visiting in January. After spending quite a bit of time inside, we decided we were going to make button’s diaper bag. Since then, I have been staring at this awesome fabric just waiting till the right time…which of course, happened to be this week! So, David and I sat down and did just that…made little button a diaper bag with a matching changing pad (which I forgot at home, so it won’t be on here), and I LOOOOOOVE it!

I have to say once again, how much I love my husband! I know, I know…eye roll…yet again…but seriously he is awesome! We both contributed 50/50 on her bag and it couldn’t have turned out better. And as a bonus, we both learned the term stitching in the ditch ;)

Seriously…so cute huh??!?! And there is a pocket on the inside, and the grey side panels each have two pockets!!

And we have since added a super cute button at the top to keep it closed :)

You’re almost here little Maeve!

Until next time…
