Hellllllllllllo 3rd and FINAL trimester!!!!

This week is a big week! The week where me and button only have 12 more weeks to go! That’s right…it’s no longer a count up but a countDOWN!! The week where I got to drink the delicious (eye roll) glucose, and I am happy to say…no gestational diabetes here ;) And the week where little girl has gotten OH SO MUCH STRONGER!!!! AND OH SO MUCH BIGGER!!! She kicks, and squirms, and rolls frequently. Okay, who am I kidding…all the time! I love it…don’t get me wrong…but wowza…I can’t believe she is gonna get even bigger :) So here we are, little Maeve and mama, just hanging out and counting down the weeks till her arrival…

Wooosh! My strong little girl…

Until next time…

We met up with Jack a little later than our typical newborn shoot. At 2 months old, he was more awake and active…which actually allowed for some pretty awesome shots. Kelly and Gary, you guys were so great and easy to work with, and we sincerely appreciate it! Jack is so, so sweet! Take a look…

I know the next two are so similar, but I love his face in each of them that I simply could not choose…

Ugh…what are you doing crazy lady??

This just might have to be my absolute FAVORITE of the shoot…

See what I mean about sweet…

LOVE…

EXTRA LOVE…

SERIOUSLY, you guys are awesome!!! Thank you!

Three month old Jackson was not in the mood to be put down. He tolerated it a little (and I mean tiny) bit, but mostly just wanted to be held by his people. Nonetheless, he was as cute as ever. Take a peak…

Love this…

And all these sweet little faces Jackson makes…

By this point, he was pretty much done! But it seriously cracks me up…

Can’t wait to see you guys at six months!!

Strawberries and ice cream…YUM! The kind of YUM that would REQUIRE (not desire) a nightly dose just to sleep at night. Okay, okay…we already discovered in previous posts that I am a bit dramatic, but really…the whole strawberries and ice cream combo is just that good! And no, I don’t have it EVERY night…just some…okay most nights. Therapeutic ice cream as David and I call it. And yes, it is in fact therapeutic, as heartburn is starting to rear it’s ugly head again. Of course, not any ice cream will do, it has to be vanilla bean!

So, hear I was, roaming the aisle of Market O (David and I have a slang term for just about everything. Market O = Market of Choice) in search of some delicious vanilla bean ice cream. Staring me in the eyes was Alden’s Ice Cream…local and organic…SOLD! To our delight (baby Maeve included), we love it!!!!

Until next time…

We traveled up to Salem to photograph Elisa and Lance and baby boy! They put the pressure on us to find some place rustic to take the photos. Not being from Salem, we knew we would have to work some magic and find a good place…oh, and we were running late too (big surprise)! We thought we would take a peak by their house first, just to see. And wow…we lucked out! There was this incredibly awesome barn right down the road from them…with of course a NO TRESPASSING sign! David and I took a chance, and we went and asked the owner if we could use his barn for photos. To our delight, he was more than generous and had no problem at all. YAY! Problem solved!

So here we were, ready to share the news with Lance and Elisa! I had never met (unless countless emails back and forth counts) Elisa before, so it was hard to say how the shoot was gonna go! Again…to our delight, Elisa was awesome and so easy to work with! And Lance, don’t think we forgot about you…but we already knew you were awesome ;) .  Seriously, you guys…you were great! Thank you for such an effortless shoot.

I seriously love all of these! It was hard to pic my faves…

They are so genuinely excited and happy for this little boy, that it was a piece o cake to photograph…

UGH, love it! One of my top faves…

ADORE this…

I think these next two are the perfect definition of GLOWING! Elisa, you are gorgeous…

I will end with two more perfect shots of Elisa…

We have been fortunate enough to watch little Kellen grow aka Sara’s belly grow, from the VERY beginning, and we are all so excited to finally be able to meet him…especially Sara and Jake! In just about 5 short weeks, he will be here!!! So, of course…we had to photograph his hot little mama and papa in waiting! Take a peak…

LOVE!!!

Extra LOVE…

See what I mean about hot mama…

I love (yes again), love the way Jake is looking at Sara…

And I am pretty sure this is how Kellen was made ;)

One last LOVE…

We love you three so much! Thank you for letting us document this special time in your lives!!!! Yay baby Kellen!!!

Oh yea, I forgot your pregnant! Byron says to me as he watches my form from behind, and as I explain why I can’t make the weight get any closer to my body. Because the truth is, it’s as close to my body as I can get it with my bell in the way.

Byron and Caitlin are um…pretty freakin’ solid, and I am so thankful that we found them. David and I started working out with Byron before I was pregnant, and I was determined to continue throughout my pregnancy. So far…so good. They push and encourage me, all the while still looking out for me and baby Maeve. And really, they don’t forget I’m pregnant, but they just don’t cut me slack…which I love. I’m there to work hard, and little button…well, she has no choice but to work hard as well :) The bigger my bell gets, the more modifications, and Caitlin, can you please pull down my shirt I ask her as the pull-up band rolls it up time and time again.

So, every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, we’re off to The Box for MetCon Training, and I am stronger and better because of it…

A little kettle bell action! And seriously, I was gassed from the workout, but I couldn’t help but laugh…

And gotta love double unders…

In all honestly, Byron and Caitlin…you guys have made this whole pregnancy workout thing pretty awesome. Thank you for the hard work and effort you put in to not lettin’ me blow up ;)

Until next time…

We really don’t have much, so you’ll have to be creative…

This is what Alisha and Baron said to us as we walk into their house. Uhhhhh…quite the contrary! Their house is packed full of incredible, perfectly photographable props!!! Well, not props to them, but props to us. Honestly, you guys…you made shooting Amelia so easy for us today. Not only did you have plenty of character for us to work with, but you guys were laid back and just kinda let us do our thing…and for that…we were able to pull out an amazing shoot! Thank you, thank you! Take a peak at the super sweet and well hydrated ;) Amelia…

And p.s…they made those blocks! Yea…pretty awesome…

Again…with how awesome their house is!! This wasn’t staged…they had all this already setup in Amelia’s room…

And more awesomeness…

These next ones are pure and simple and I love them…

I will end with my 3 absolute favorites…

Some say I’m nesting already, but I think this is just me expressing myself in another artistic form.

I have always wanted to learn how to knit but just never found the time…until now. Not like I have all that much time to spare, but what time I do find, I have focused it onto knitting…and I LOVE it! I have a long way to go, but it’s fun! And poor little Maeve will have all these clothes and toys that her mommy knitted her. I find it quite novel, but I’m sure as she ages, she will not find the humor or love in it that I do. But until that age…I will force my creations onto her ;)

Like I said, I am just starting out aka the super focused face…

My very first headband for little Maeve button…

Until next time…

Oh how I love to photograph the Wasian!!!! And this shoot was especially awesome. Not only does Koa have the sweetest disposition and smile, but he is now one!! Of course we had to bring out the guitar again. And yes…Eric was just as worried about it as he was a year ago. Luckily, no pee got in or on it this time. Take a look at how perfect their little family is…

Seriously love that Wasian! His parents are pretty awesome too…

This is perfect…

And really Ann, could you be any more gorgeous?!? Even Koa thinks his mama is pretty…

These are the people responsible for one of my all time favorite pics! Little Koa at just 2 weeks old…

And now…a year later…

Thank you so much for letting us be a part of Koa’s first year! You guys rock!
