3 Month Luci

Everything about photographing the Taits is a breeze! I love that they are true Oregonians and are seriously down for whatever. Uh, can we put Luci there, I say like sticking her in the mud isn’t a big deal, or how about there? And of course, it really is no big deal to them…and I love it. Even when Luci comes up with a face full of dirt and leaves, Jamie just laughs at her and knows this really only does make her stronger ;)

They are also so go with the flow, that they trust me enough to follow me to this weird construction spot on the side of the road. And as promised…it was beautiful…in the pictures at least. First stop, however, was gparents’ house…

There is something to be said about a man who can just show up on his lunch break, no belt and all. Jake, you rock…

I love how Jake is looking at Jamie…

This cracks me up how irritated Luci looks…

That’s right, this is how I was made…

I will end with a little love from mommy…

We fell completely in love with Katelyn when we met her at a mere 2 weeks old. FELL…like hit the floor and cant get up…FELL! And here she is all grown up…okay not quite, but it’s really so much better if I am dramatic about it all.

We finished out our first year series with Katelyn and her mother, Jackie on Monday, and it was perfect. Okay, again with the drama…it was POURING down rain when we started. But as Oregon weather often does, it stopped raining and the sun started shining about 30 minutes later. And little miss perfect set of hair, Katelyn was in a great mood. Take a look at one year old Katelyn…

Oh Katelyn…really…I could just squeeze the cuteness right out of you…

LOVE…

Fave of the shoot (as if it was easy to pick)…

And of course, a little Halloween fun…ARGH…

I truly can not believe it has been a year, and I’m sad that we won’t be seeing you guys so frequently. However, I sincerely hope that we keep in touch and continue to photograph your incredible little adventure. You guys have been nothing short of amazing. Thank you!!!

Bite Your Lower Lip

It is seriously weird to think that my little cousin is not only graduating from high school this coming year, but then enlisting in the Army. My little cousin…is not so little anymore! He is tall and built strong with an incredibly deep voice (that I clearly still can not get over)! And it truly was great to be able to photograph him. It sometimes is a challenge to photograph family for various reasons, but Caimen really was super easy to work with. Maybe it was the fact that he followed directions well, ¬†or knew how to turn it out for the camera…OR…a big OR…it was the fact that we (mom and dad included) teased the crap out of Caimen while photographing him, and we enjoyed every minute of it. Take a peak…

The amazing trait that only Asians posses…our eyes disappear when we laugh…

Totally diggin’ the hat…

Thank you so much for coming down to allow us to photograph you and for spending some time with us! We love you all!!

We are super excited to be posting on our totally new website, new blog, new everything!!!! When I say super excited, I mean like crazy, out of control, can’t hardly stand it, excited!!!

We have been working with Brian Hollett for the past several months to create a totally custom website to meet our needs. And wow, again with the excitement, David and I couldn’t be more thrilled with Brian’s amazing talent. We know this isn’t your run of the mill, stereotypical photography website. The layout is different and easy to find information, and quite frankly…PERFECT!

So, this is the very first blog entry. To see more of our mad blogging skills and all the latest photo shoots, please visit our OLD BLOG. But from here out, all of our blogging will be gladly done HERE!!!
